**Harborview Medical Center** has an opportunity for a Perioperative Register Nurse to join us in our **New Outpatient Surgery Center.**
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ 100% Mon-Friday (4-10's/ week)
+ Day Shift
+ No holidays, weekends, or nights
The anticipated opening date to patients is January 2026.
The UW Medicine Outpatient Surgery Center at Harborview is a five operating room surgical unit with support for pre-operative, post-operative, and sterile processing departments.

**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
The **UW Medicine Outpatient Surgery Center** will provide daytime surgical procedures to the community of patients that meet developed criteria.
**ABOUT THE OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER**
The **New Outpatient Surgery Center opening on the Harborview Campus** is located on the 4th floor of Ninth and Jefferson Building (NJB) and will open January 2026 to patients. The Surgery Center will feature 5 operating rooms, 12 pre/post bays, and sterile processing. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday with no holidays, weekends, or night hours. The Center will offer same-day surgery procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to our community of patients that meet the necessary criteria. This reflects the Center's innovative, patient-centered culture, supporting ongoing operational efficiencies and quality improvements. The goal is to provide a seamless, low-stress surgical experience for each patient, surgeon, and staff member. The unit will provide a soothing environment with natural lighting and patient privacy
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** **_(CIRCULATING)_**
+ Patient teaching
+ Assist surgeon and anesthesia
+ Continuous patient assessment
+ Documentation in Epic
+ Participation in quality improvement projects
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
+ Two or more years perioperative experiences
+ Has a WA/MSL RN license to practice in the state of Washington

**Compensation, Benefits and Position Details**
**Pay Range Minimum:**
$91,152.00 annual
**Pay Range Maximum:**
$165,576.00 annual
**Other Compensation:**
BSN or Higher Premium $1.00/hr
Certification premium $1.25/hr
Overtime pay
$10,000 sign on bonus
