We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist with deep expertise in Tableau to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This is a remote 1099 position open to candidates based in the United States only. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transforming data into actionable insights through compelling visualizations and dashboards.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to business and user requirements
Interpret data, analyze results, and present findings in a clear and visually engaging format
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective visual solutions
Provide guidance on data visualization best practices and dashboard usability
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all Tableau solutions
Assist with integrating Tableau dashboards into broader analytics workflows or business platforms
Proven success (2+ years) working with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online
Strong portfolio of dashboards and data visualizations demonstrating advanced Tableau capabilities
Proficient in data preparation and transformation techniques using tools such as SQL, Excel, or other BI platforms
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. – no visa sponsorship is available for this role
