Description Robert Half is actively recruiting for a strong Payroll Consultant for an ESOP owned manufacturing and construction client in the Inland Empire. The consultant's primary responsibilities will be ensuring certified payroll for 500 employees complies with the certified payroll reporting requirements under the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The role requires deep experience with LCP tracker, prevailing wage and the PRISM software system. The consultant must have extensive experience preparing and submitting DIR forms. This role will be hybrid in Jurupa Valley, CA. Skills: -Deep knowledge of LCP tracker and PRISM system -Understanding payroll systems Paychex preferred -Understanding of Accounting ERPS ( example, Dynamics 365 big plus) -Good Excel skills required (VLook Ups, Pivot Tables) Soft Skills - Attention to detail - Able to communicate at various levels within the organization Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing sectors. - Proficiency in certified payroll processes and prevailing wage compliance. - Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as Paychex and DIR tracker. - Familiarity with accounting software like Dynamics 365. - Intermediate Excel skills, including VLookups and Pivot Tables. - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex reporting requirements. - Adept at communicating with various levels within an organization. - Experience with union payroll processes is highly desirable.
