We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and submit certified payroll reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This part-time position requires a professional with proven experience in payroll processing and a solid understanding of prevailing wage laws.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and submit certified payroll reports weekly in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Maintain accurate labor records and project documentation.
+ Ensure timely and accurate reporting for government contracts and audits.
+ Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, file organization, and document preparation.
+ Create and manage spreadsheets and documents using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Drive.
+ Assist the office team with scheduling, communications, and basic clerical duties.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience with certified payroll processing and compliance.
+ General knowledge of prevailing wage laws and related reporting requirements.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive applications.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with DIR and LCP Tracker is a bonus.
+ Prior administrative experience preferred.
Work Environment
The position is based in an office setting within the construction industry. This is a part-time role, requiring work two days a week. The role offers an opportunity to grow and expand within the organization.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
