Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll/Accounting Clerk to join our team in Glendale, California. In this role, you will handle key accounting tasks such as expense reimbursements, account reconciliations, and journal entry preparation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in accounting and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities: - Accurately code and reconcile expense reimbursements to ensure proper financial tracking. - Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions, maintaining up-to-date records. - Perform benefits reconciliations, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies. - Prepare journal entries and ensure they align with accounting standards and company policies. - Handle multi-state employee registrations and reporting processes. - Contribute to various special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and initiative. Requirements - Associate's degree in Accounting or completion of some college coursework in accounting is preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Experience using integrated accounting software such as MAS90, Great Plains, or QuickBooks. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. - Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify and resolve financial discrepancies. - Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Highly organized with keen attention to detail and accuracy. - Multi-state payroll Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
