Description
Responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the Systems Integration Lab (SInteL), ensuring equipment readiness, consumables management, and providing technical assistance to lab users. This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting integration testing activities. Responsibilities - Maintain lab equipment operational readiness through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting - Keep the lab clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards - Establish and manage consumables inventory; ensure continuous availability - Conduct initial lab needs assessment and develop improvement plans - Provide daily on-site technical support (light soldering, wire fabrication, space setup) - Optimize test bench and equipment scheduling to maximize utilization - Support department test vehicle usage and access via Fleet Management System (FMS) - Document all activities including maintenance logs, inventory records, and user support logs

Qualifications - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field - 3-5 years in lab operations, hardware maintenance, or technical support - Familiarity with automotive systems and integration testing preferred Skills - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to perform light soldering and wire fabrication - Excellent organizational and documentation skills - Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in lab environments - Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams Tools & Technologies - Fleet Management System (FMS) - Microsoft Suite (Excel, SharePoint for inventory tracking) - Basic electrical tools for soldering and wiring

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
