The Apps team is in search of a high-energy and ambitious Engineering Project Manager. We're looking for people with the ability to ship complex, customer-facing products under demanding timelines. This is a hands-on position where the Project Manager will be involved in requirements analysis, functional and technical discussions, testing, proof-of-concept, and more. This is not a task-based job; you will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery.

Description
The position requires an individual who gets into the details, has excellent organizational skills, understands software development, and has expertise working with Software Engineering, Design, QA, and cross-functionally with various organizations to manage and track deliverables.
Expect to be hands-on and engrossed in product details, while also being challenged to innovate on new features, strategize new processes, and build relationships to achieve results.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead multiple concurrent projects and features, including: scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation tracking, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments.
Optimize processes on how features are built and executed.
Understand and work on cross-functional projects with multi-functional schedules across the Apple ecosystem.
Collaborate with Software Engineering, Design, QA, Build, and Integration and cross-functionally with various organizations to build, manage, and track deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of Engineering Project Management expertise, delivering software and services through a full project lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex software projects and collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.
- 5+ years of working closely with Software Engineering, Design and QA to ship applications and/or frameworks to support multiple applications.
- Confident to take on technical challenges and work with various teams, building and managing relationships to navigate delivery dependencies.
- Versatile problem solver equipped with a strong analytical approach to various challenges in complex environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to filter and distill meaningful information to the right audience.
- Adept at creative and critical thinking with the ability to deconstruct problems, resolve conflicts, and lead the teams to solutions.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
