ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for our first Director of Marketing ,a bold, creative builder ready to shape how Odigos tells its story to the world!

This is a rare opportunity to build a marketing function in a growing technology start up from the ground up , define our voice, and lead our go-to-market strategy in a space that’s moving fast. You’ll work directly with our CEO and partner with our Sales leadership to drive awareness, growth, and adoption across the globe.

By harnessing the power of eBPF , we’ve built a platform that automatically generates distributed traces - with zero code changes and minimal performance overhead .

Today, engineering teams waste months manually building complex monitoring pipelines, juggling countless code updates across teams. Odigos eliminates that friction, giving developers instant, high-quality observability data - effortlessly.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As our first marketing leader, you’ll have the freedom and ownership to shape everything from strategy to execution:

· Strategic Leadership

Define product positioning and messaging, create go-to-market strategies for product launches, develop marketing collateral, and train sales teams. Collaborate closely with product, sales, and leadership to ensure alignment and impact.

· Growth & Demand Generation

Own all aspects of demand generation, including inbound/outbound campaigns, performance marketing, and acquisition funnels. Design and run experiments, continuously testing creative and analytical strategies to optimize traffic and conversions.

Leverage Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to build high-quality pipelines for sales.

· Marketing Technology & Operations

Own, build, and optimize the marketing technology stack, ensuring integration, data accuracy, and efficiency across platforms. Manage and optimize the marketing budget and ROI, making data-driven decisions to maximize impact.

· Brand & Thought Leadership

Shape the brand voice and identity across channels, increasing awareness and market relevance. Build Odigos’ reputation as a trusted voice in the observability and open-source communities.

· Analytics & Optimization

Define, monitor, and report on key marketing KPIs. Use insights to iterate rapidly and guide strategy. Drive continuous improvement in pipeline quality and conversion rates.

HOW YOU’LL BE MEASURED

  • Total business performance, including incremental ARR growth objectives.
  • Marketing-attributed pipeline and pipeline growth.
  • Sales NPS , reflecting alignment and effectiveness of the marketing–sales partnership.

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including leadership roles in high-growth technology startup companies.
  • A proven track record of scaling global brands and products successfully.
  • Mastery across key marketing disciplines: demand generation, product marketing, ABM, brand building, and content strategy.
  • Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach-comfortable operating with autonomy.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across functions and levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and Knowledge of the observability, DevOps, or cloud computing industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
