Location: Elgin, IL Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00/hour (Weekdays: 12-6:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9 am -1pm)
Schedule: Part-time, less than 30 hours per week
Work Environment: In-Home Setting (Client home) and School-based
Job Description Finni is urgently looking for ABA Therapists looking to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work in Mundelein, IL and the surrounding area!
BCBA or BCaBA practicum students are highly encouraged to apply!!
As an ABA Therapist/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patient's families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.
- Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting and in the community, such as a daycare setting
- Collect and record data on therapy goals
- Receive weekly supervision from a doctorate-level Behavior Analyst
- Attend team meetings and trainings as scheduled by your supervisor

What You'll Need
- Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field
- Experience working with children (early intervention), and a passion for working with children with special needs
- Experience with high-aggression clients (e.g. teens with severe behaviors)
- Reliable Transportation
- A think outside of the box personality to make therapy fun for your clients
- Professional social skills to interact with and support caregivers
- Active RBT Certification (Preferred, but will train if needed)
- Active CPR Certification (Required, but will train if needed)
- To protect our clients and their families, this position requires a background check. Successful candidates will receive a conditional offer of employment, with a final confirmation to start pending the satisfactory results of the screening
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
- Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
